The New Yorker on Hermès “Here Elsewhere,” fabricated by Creative NYC:
“Technicians had installed a large, ring-shaped screen, reminiscent of a carrousel, upon which a circling succession of closeup images—bright textile prints, grainy stitched leather, the rear end of a horse—was being rapidly projected, while a Philip Glass soundtrack played. The color palette was warm, with russets and oranges and occasional, reviving, splashes of blue.”

“It is an unusual way to exhibit these objects from the first collection Ms. Macaux Perelman and Mr. Fabry oversaw for Hermès (and which had a more traditional outing at the Salone del Mobile, Milan’s furniture fair, last month), but for a traditional company, Hermès has proved very willing to embrace the unexpected in its collaborators . . .”
