Coca-Cola’s Eye-popping dining room displays at DIFFA’s Dining by Design as part of the Architectural Digest Design Show, makes beautiful use of various recycled materials, a Geodesic dome fabricated by Creative NYC. The installation was entirely encased in a prismatic dome from Lumicor made from recycled glass with recycled aluminum framework. Those chairs? Made from 11 recycled plastic bottles. The lights? Hand-blown glass lighting from “upcycled” Coca-Cola bottles by Texas’s Wolf Art Glass. The dome and table? Why those are made from 60% recycled material (the frame is entirely made of recycled aluminum). The dinner plates? Made from Spanish glass municipal waste. The salad plates? Made from recycled Japanese glass. Production Design and Creative Direction by Stefan Beckman Studio
