Coca-Cola’s Eye-popping dining room displays at DIFFA’s Dining by Design as part of the Architectural Digest Design Show, makes beautiful use of various recycled materials, a Geodesic dome fabricated by Creative NYC. The installation was entirely encased in a prismatic dome from Lumicor made from recycled glass with recycled aluminum framework.
Those chairs? Made from 11 recycled plastic bottles. The lights? Hand-blown glass lighting from “upcycled” Coca-Cola bottles by Texas’s Wolf Art Glass. The dome and table? Why those are made from 60% recycled material (the frame is entirely made of recycled aluminum). The dinner plates? Made from Spanish glass municipal waste. The salad plates? Made from recycled Japanese glass.
